Located in Caranzol, along the banks of the River Mhadei, is a site steeped in history and natural beauty. The name translates to ‘Honey Stone’ in Konkani, inspired by the hillock dense with forests and countless bee hives. While the area’s calm setting and scenic charm make it worth a visit, it’s best admired from a safe distance. The dense vegetation and presence of wild bees make exploring beyond marked paths risky, so visitors are advised to tread carefully and simply take in the beauty from afar.
