As CFO, you will play a dual role at the company of ensuring fiscal management of current resources and organising the financial resources needed for future growth. To ensure a smooth functioning of our existing operations, you will be the person responsible for creation and monitoring of budgets and oversight of the regular accounting of the company. Cash flow management and risk management of the company’s liabilities vs assets is another critical function. As you will be reporting directly to the board, effectively reporting the MIS and other relevant information to the board.

New projects are a way of life at Drishti. Planning and funding these initiatives will be a key focus area for you. Projects will range from small internal initiatives to creation of new business verticals in a new sector. Funding for the same will require a mix of internal resources and external equity or debt. It will require the creation of all financial projections and justifications needed to justify such investments.

The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong ability to manage fiscal discipline while having an aggressive appetite for new ventures. A strong experience in external equity fund raising will be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  1. 10 years of relevant experience with current position being CFO, financial controller or relevant role

  2. Cross industry's exposure preferred with at least one assignment in the services sector. Working with government departments will be an added advantage

  3. In depth knowledge of accounting laws, taxation, company law and risk management practices

  4. Ability to create processes to plan and monitor budgets of existing businesses and new verticals

  5. Setup and review audits and operations control systems from an accounting and finance perspective

  6. Cash flow allocations and management

  7. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

  8. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software

  9. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is a must

  10. CA, CFA, MBA or other relevant degrees is a strong advantage

Beach Administrators - Job Opening

Job Description

Overall administration of Lifeguard & Beach cleaning services in assigned beaches of Goa. Digitised & manual documentation/ data maintenance & enhancing the tourism experience through internal/ external communications are the main focus area for this job role. 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Reporting  & maintaining the various data , attendance & incidents on daily basis

  2. Interaction with Tourist for their safety , Educating the Tourists on Beach Safety Rules

  3. Lifeguard ( LG ) and Beach Cleaning ( BC) Attendance administration ( weekly offs & other leaves in conjunction with beach captain) on day to day basis

  4. Follow up with maintenance department for maintenance jobs and preparation of weekly reports. Support in the aging stock % reduction by informing & updating the maintenance department

  5. Inspect & audit beach operations

  6. Assist in the maintenance of Lifeguard Centre and Tower

  7. Maintaining the Documentation related to the QMS system

  8. Stock audit of stores and Towers

  9. Explain welfare measures ,  Assist LG and BC for PF and ESIC claims

  10. Satisfying all salary related queries of LG and BC

Job Description

All tasks entailing the administration of the zone. Each zone covers approximately 18 beaches & 300+ employees.

Primary Focus

  • Administrating & co-ordinating the functions of key departments such as Operations, Stores, Maintenance, Civil, Human Resources & Training for the zone.

Operations

  • Work as part of the operations team.
  • Ensure all requirements of operations department are being correctly addressed by other departments to ensure a seamless level of performance in operations.
  • Regular site visits at all beaches off the zone to get insight into ground realities.
  • Collate beach incident information, update incident register and maintain incident report.
  • Be a member of the investigation team for major incidents on beaches.

Stores

  • Monitor & analyze inventory reports for the entire zone.
  • Predict, plan and coordinate requisitions.

Maintenance

  • Analyze maintenance reports for all assets under the zone.
  • Liaise with maintenance department for regular maintenance and critical breakdowns.

Human Resources

  • Oversee & collate the attendance & leave of all Lifeguards.
  • Work with the central HRD and serve as a channel of communication between the zone and central offices.
  • Monitor fitness and training records of each Lifeguards. Liaise with the training team as needed.

Field visits

  • Regular visits to every beach to enable execution of job requirement.

Experience & Skill requirements:

Minimum Requirement / Qualifications

  • BBA
  • Freshers are welcome.
  • Prior work experience of up to 1 or 2 yrs in related field or admin would be considered.
  • Extremely adept at using MS Office, web based applications and ability to use new computer software.
  • Possess good communication & Interpersonal skills (both verbal & written).
  • Ability to communicate in Konkani or Marathi.
  • Other skills: Attention to detail, team oriented, strong paperwork, positive & self confident.
