Key Responsibility :
We are seeking an Assistant HR Manager to handle the HR activities for our Drishti Group of companies. The person in charge should have a good exposure in Compliance Management , Recruitment activities & HR Operations. The role will report to the HR Manager, based out of Goa.
Duties :
Provide guidance and assistance to Jr. HR generalists and other personnel as needed
Manage the hiring process & Put the organisation’s talent and human resources strategy into action
Work with HODs to determine the qualifications and abilities needed for open positions
Monitor & handle the orientation formalities to help with recruitment efforts and to get employees equipped for their duties
Compliance Management to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations
Handle disciplinary proceedings, terminations, and investigations involving employees & ensure proper document management with regards to the same
Ensure proper attendance management & records for all the sectors and departments
Maintain the records of all employees falling under Income Tax bracket
Maintain the data records for salary, overtime, final settlement, advance recovery, bonus, allowances and coordinate with payroll vendor for computing the salaries on time
Ensure proper budgeting & disbursement of the salary, bonus & benefits
Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees & monitor distribution of payslips on monthly basis to all the personnel
Handle exit formalities
Grievance Management & surprise visits to various work locations across beaches in Goa
HR administrative & Generalist duties
Qualifications, Experience & Skill requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
3 - 4 year of experience as a HR generalist / HR Recruiter
Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
Based or willing to relocate in Panjim
Ability to communicate well in English and Konkani/ Marathi
Detail-oriented and organised
Desired Qualifications
Master’s degree/ MBA in HR
